Planning Committee
The Planning Committee of the college has a key role in shaping its future. Through its work in developing and overseeing the strategic plan, allocating resources, and monitoring progress, the committee ensures that the college is well-positioned to meet its goals and fulfill its mission. Setting long-term goals, identifying key priorities, and developing action plans to achieve these objectives, the Planning Committee’s commitment to vision, foresight, and strategic thinking ensures that the college remains a dynamic and forward-looking institution, capable of adapting to change and thriving in the ever-evolving landscape of higher education. The Planning Committee guides the institution’s development and ensures that its growth is aligned with its mission, vision, and goals. This committee plays a central role in shaping the future of the college by setting strategic directions, managing resources, and overseeing the implementation of key initiatives. It anticipates and adapts to future challenges and opportunities. The Planning Committee conducts a thorough analysis of the college’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis) which serves as the foundation for the strategic planning process, helping the committee identify areas where the college can build on its strengths, address its weaknesses, capitalize on opportunities, and mitigate potential risks. The committee also reviews external factors, such as demographic trends, technological advancements, and changes in higher education policies, to ensure that the college’s plans are responsive to the broader environment. It carefully goes about planning and budgeting, as well as monitoring to ensure that resources are being used as intended.
