The Department of Physics at Government College, Mokeri, was established in 2018 with a commitment to providing high-quality education. It offers complimentary course to BSc Chemistry students. Department also offers Minor according to the new FYUGP 2024 system. Additionally, the department provides Multi-Disciplinary Course (MDC) for undergraduate (UG) students from various other disciplines, promoting interdisciplinary learning.
The department is staffed with qualified faculty members who employ student-friendly teaching methods such as seminars, discussions, project work, and lectures. These approaches are designed to enhance students’ learning experiences, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
The department is also well equipped with fully functioning UG lab which is essential for hands-on learning and experimentation in physics.
