Electoral literacy is crucial for cultivating knowledgeable and involved citizens who actively
engage in the democratic process. The objective of our Electoral Literacy group is to provide
citizens with comprehensive knowledge on their rights and obligations as voters, as well as
the electoral procedure. Our organisation aims to empower individuals in our community by
providing workshops, seminars, voter registration drives, and educational campaigns. These
initiatives are designed to equip community members with the necessary knowledge and
skills to make well-informed decisions while voting. Through the promotion of electoral
literacy, our aim is to enhance the robustness of democracy, augment voter participation, and
foster a political system that is more comprehensive and representative. The students become
a part of this endeavour to enhance electoral literacy and enable individuals to actively
contribute to determining the future of our society.
