Anti Ragging Committee

ANTI RAGGING COMMITTEE

       An Anti-Ragging Committee of the institution is responsible for preventing and addressing incidents of ragging. It ensures a safe and positive environment for students, particularly newly admitted students.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Create awareness about ragging and its consequences.
  • Ensure the effectiveness of the institutional complaint mechanism for students to report ragging incidents.
  • Investigate reported cases and take disciplinary action.
  • Submit reports to the relevant academic or government bodies.

Anti-Ragging Measures

  • Mandatory anti-ragging affidavits from students and parents.
  • Display of anti-ragging posters and helpline numbers.
  • Orientation programs for new students and sensitization programs for seniors.
  • Strict disciplinary action against those involved in ragging.
