Anti Ragging Committee

An Anti-Ragging Committee of the institution is responsible for preventing and addressing incidents of ragging. It ensures a safe and positive environment for students, particularly newly admitted students.

Roles & Responsibilities

Create awareness about ragging and its consequences.
Ensure the effectiveness of the institutional complaint mechanism for students to report ragging incidents.
Investigate reported cases and take disciplinary action.
Submit reports to the relevant academic or government bodies.

Anti-Ragging Measures

Mandatory anti-ragging affidavits from students and parents.
Display of anti-ragging posters and helpline numbers.
Orientation programs for new students and sensitization programs for seniors.
Strict disciplinary action against those involved in ragging.
