ANTI RAGGING COMMITTEE
An Anti-Ragging Committee of the institution is responsible for preventing and addressing incidents of ragging. It ensures a safe and positive environment for students, particularly newly admitted students.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Create awareness about ragging and its consequences.
- Ensure the effectiveness of the institutional complaint mechanism for students to report ragging incidents.
- Investigate reported cases and take disciplinary action.
- Submit reports to the relevant academic or government bodies.
Anti-Ragging Measures
- Mandatory anti-ragging affidavits from students and parents.
- Display of anti-ragging posters and helpline numbers.
- Orientation programs for new students and sensitization programs for seniors.
- Strict disciplinary action against those involved in ragging.
