The Department of English is recognized as a Research Centre by the University of Calicut. It
functions as a central location for intellectual investigation, promoting collaboration across
many disciplines and expanding the frontiers of understanding in multiple areas. Our research
centre is equipped with advanced facilities and is supervised by competent faculty. Its
primary focus is to tackle urgent societal issues, enhance interdisciplinary knowledge, and
promote incorporating technological advancements into academics. The Department of
