The PG Department of Commerce offers BBA (since 1998) and M.Com courses (since 2018). The department always tries to maintain a high standard which is evident from its results and performance of the students in competitive and other examinations. The percentage of results and number of creditable grades obtained in both the courses are excellent.The department is professionally managed by a group of seven talented and dedicated faculties. The department is supported by 100% NET-qualified faculties. The department conducts seminars, workshops, and lectures by experts in various fields regularly to blend industry practices with academics. The department offers free coaching for UGC NET-JRF to the students in the college.

The department offers BBA and M.Com Programmes.

1. Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
BBA is three years (Six Semester) degree programme in Commerce in which the students learn about management and administrative duties inside an organization.

2. Master of Commerce (M.Com)
M.Com is a postgraduate degree, which deals with various advanced areas of Commerce, Accounting, Finance and Economics. The two-year degree course opens career opportunities in the corporate, finance sectors and banking sector. It offers specialization in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, Human resource management etc. This is a four-semester choice-based credit system course and has approval from UGC.

  • To enable a student to be capable of making decisions at personal and professional level.

Co-Curricular Activities

The Department is regularly organizing co-curricular activities to enrich the learning and develop the overall personality of the students. Business Quiz , Commerce Fest , Group Discussion session ,Entrepreneurship development workshop ( Under ED Club ) ,Personality development workshop ,Career guidance &counselling workshops ,Experience sharing session by the Entrepreneurs and Extension lectures on latest business and management issues by experts from industry and academia.
