  • Mechanism for timely Redressal of Student Grievances at the Dept. level:

The department has a Grievance Redressal Committee comprising the Head of Department, Tutors for Undergraduate and Postgraduate students, and occasionally a Student Representative. The Grievance Redressal Committee of the department implements a transparent procedure to promptly address grievances submitted by students on any matter, whether related to the department or the overall functioning of the institution. The Committee, in compliance with the UGC Regulations, seeks to tackle and efficiently resolve complaints from students in the department. Any grievances, if present, are promptly resolved at the departmental level in a just and open way. During the tutorial session, pupils are informed about the redressal method. The student’s grievance, when presented to the tutor or any faculty member of the department, is carefully examined by the department’s Grievance Redressal Committee. Prompt action is then taken to address the issue, with the aim of benefiting the students and offering them emotional and moral assistance. Stringent measures are taken to ensure complete transparency in the resolution of every dispute.  Confidentiality is also ensured.
