A crash coaching was given to the final year students to crack the CUET (PG). The event was held on 27.1.25 at seminar hall . The class was taken by Sri .Sameerkhan, HoD, Department of History, MES College Ponnani.All the CUET aspirants had participated in the event.
PTA meeting of FYUGP first year students was held on 23/1/25. The meeting was a great success interms of the participation of parents. The main agenda of the meeting was result analysis of first semester.
The Department of History in association with the Disability club has organized “Kaithang[ കൈത്താങ്ങ്]” ,a session for the disabled children and their parents on 21.1.2025. The Resource Person was Aryasree,Special Educator of Karuna school for Differently abled and a former student of the Department .
A PSC orientation class was organized by the PSC Corner of the department. P V Prasanth was the Resource Person. Students of all the semesters had participated.
An induction programme on FYUGP Kerala history syllabus was conducted on 5.9.2024 . The Resource Person was Dr. P Rajesh, calicut university syllabus committee member.
Readers club named “Book Worms “ was inaugurated on 13/12/2024. Inauguration was done by Nidhish Unnikrishnan,Assistant Professor of Mathematics .Chief guest was poet Anoop Krishnan
Museum exhibition “charithrthaliloode” was conducted on 4/7/24 for the entire college. Several students from different departments and teachers had participated.
“Gandhi and secularism”, a public speech was conducted on 1.10.2024. Students had participated by making short speech Gandhi.
Independence Day Quiz was conducted on 21.8.2024. One team from each Department had participated. Prizes were distributed to the winners by the Principal.
The Department has held an extension activity at National Higher Secondary school Vattoli on 24/10/24. The programme included career guidance class,Quiz competition and donation of books to the school library.
Extension activity to the Kunnummal panchayat with the aim of understanding the decentralization process was conducted on 31.10.2024.
An orientation class on Research methodology was organized for the final year students on 4.9.2024. The class was carried out by Dr. Ajmal Mueen, Associate Professor of History, MAMO College, Manassery.
Department Debate club “Lyceum” organized “Lyceum summit” on 2.9.24. The programme was inaugurated by principal sri.Ashrsf K K. The chief guest was Muhammed Faris of Econometrics Department. It aimed to inculcate the ability of speech in students.
A study group for Psc and other competative examinations formed namely “PSC CORNER”
